Pricing / Charges
Below you will find call-out and labour charges for all areas of Gloucestershire we cover.
PLEASE NOTE – We do not carry out repairs to:
- SAMSUNG, LIEBHERR or AMERICAN STYLE fridge freezers, or FRENCH STYLE fridge freezers.
- Wine coolers
- Gas or Dual Fuel Appliances (with the exception of the electronic ignition)
- Microwaves (including the microwave functions of built-in combination ovens)
- Telescopic extractor hoods or those above islands
- Hobs with integrated extraction.
Should we be booked to attend but have not been made aware that the appliance is one of the types listed above, a standard callout will be charged to cover our time and travel, but no work on the appliance will be undertaken.
CALL-OUT & LABOUR
Our call-out & labour charge covers the initial visit & all labour* and includes a return visit if parts need to be ordered that are not available during the initial call-out. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 3 months.
PARTS
The cost of any parts required to carry out the repair are in addition to the call-out charge. The warranty provided by our suppliers (usually 12 months) will be passed on to you.
MULTIPLE APPLIANCES
We offer a 50% discount on labour for each additional appliance inspected during the initial visit. This discount will be applied to the lowest-priced appliance(s).
QUOTES / INSPECTION REPORTS
We do not offer free visits for quotes. We will attempt to provide a free quote for repairs or replacements over the phone where possible. However, if an in-person visit is required, for a quote or report, a call-out charge will apply.
WASHING MACHINE / WASHER-DRYER DRUM CHANGES & REPAIRS
These repairs are time-consuming and labour-intensive and therefore will incur a 50% increase to the standard call-out and labour* charges.
APPLIANCES “BEYOND ECONOMIC REPAIR” (BER)
If an appliance is found to be beyond economic repair, the initial call-out fee will still apply. However, we can offer a quote for a replacement appliance and if you purchase a new appliance through us, we will waive 50% of the call-out fee, which will be deducted from the appliance cost. For multiple appliance inspections, this waiver only applies to the specific appliance replaced.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION / FAILED CALL-OUT
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or if our engineer is unable to gain access to the property (e.g., no one is home, keys are not available as arranged, wrong key safe code provided, etc.), a charge of 50% of the standard call-out fee will apply.
